We need your help!

We will not have a photographer for the reception of our wedding. We would, therefore, greatly appreciate it if our wonderful guests could take photos for us throughout the reception. We want to have as many photos as possible to remember this special night! With this being said, we are using a photosharing app called "the guest". You can download this app on your smartphone and from 4:30pm to 10:30pm on September 15th all photos you take on your phone will be shared on the app for us and all our guests to see. Thank you! We can't wait to see you all soon.

We are getting hitched

The date is September 15th 2022 and we would like you to be a part of it. We will be arriving in Maui on Monday, September 12th and leaving Wednesday, September 21st. We will be staying in Kihei at the Kamaole Beach Royale Condos, 2385 South Kihei Road.

How we met

Greg and I first officially met right out of high school way back in the summer of 2012. We were both starting the “Summer Bridge” component of ANSEP and on that first day, all 20 of us students sat in a room for introductions. Greg later said that he was first drawn to my hair, which he calls a “beautiful head of thick, black hair”. My first thought about him was that I found it strange that a bunch of kids from Houston, Texas were in Alaska for a summer program. As that summer went on, that group of us from that first introduction became good friends and by the time we were starting our first year of our undergraduate career, I had come to admire Greg for his intelligence and adorable dimples, while he had begun to admire me for my dedication to playing Quelf. As all great young romances flow, we spent many nights in our dorms laughing with our friends and Greg expressed his deep attraction to me by rubbing his sweaty armpits on my shoulder whenever I was near him. Finally, towards the end of that first semester, Greg took me on an epic first date in which we attended a wedding, saw the “Nutcracker”, and had a beautiful dinner at Orso’s. We followed that up the next weekend with a date that I led in which we took a public bus to Tikahtnu Commons and had food at every restaurant we could find. It was after this date that Greg told me that he loved the way my nose wiggled when I spoke and asked me to be his girlfriend. I’ll never forget the excitement of that night as we held hands walking back to our dorm. Since then, Greg and I have had many experiences, both good and bad, and we are so incredibly excited to begin this next chapter. We know that with amazing friends and family like you, we’ll cherish every sunny day and weather every storm that life might throw our way. See you in Maui!
